LRRG and RABI partner to highlight farm pressures
At Labour Party Conference on 28th September, the LRRG launched a short film about farming with RABI, the farmers charity. The aim of the film is to highlight the various challenges facing farmers and to make sure their voices are heard at the heart of Government. We hope you enjoy it. LRRG partners with NFU at Party Conference
The LRRG hosted a packed out drinks session at the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool on Monday 28th September. Sponsored by the NFU, the event featured speeches from the Secretary of State for DEFRA, Dame Angela Eagle, and involved launching a short film about farming with RABI, the farmers charity.

LRRG statement on SFI26
SFI26 Window 2 opened on 22nd September with around £310 million available in total, but it closed at 3:48pm the same day after the budget was fully allocated. The LRRG has raised concerns about this process, as reflected in this statement.

LRRG launches Future of the Rural Economy Report
A landmark new report authored by LRRG Chair, James Naish MP, sets out 27 practical recommendations to unlock rural economic potential and ensure rural communities can contribute fully to national prosperity.

LRRG launches call for submission
The LRRG has launched a call for submission to inform our next report examining the future of the rural economy. The deadline for written evidence is 6th May. We welcome responses from all interested parties.
